FBI Looking For Suitcase-Carrying Bank Robber
A white male in his 50s robbed a Rolling Meadows bank on Thursday.
ROLLING MEADOWS — Local police and the FBI are looking for a man authorities say robbed a bank in Rolling Meadows just after 4 p.m. Thursday. The robbery took place at the Village Bank and Trust, 1635 Algonquin Road, according to a wanted poster released by the FBI. Authorities did not disclose amount of money the robber man off with from the heist.
Described as a white male in his 50s and about 6 feet tall weighing 180 to 200 pounds with a medium build, the bandit used a handgun during the robbery. The suspect also had a dark blue roller suitcase with him at the time of the robbery and was wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans, dark shoes, black gloves, a black knit hat and rectangular eyeglasses.
A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous. Tips can be directed to the FBI at (312) 421-6700, local FBI field offices or at tips.fbi.gov.
