Girl Sexually Assaulted For Years In Wheeling: Prosecutors

WHEELING, IL — An Indianapolis man who also lived in Chicago is being held on $1 million bail after he was accused of sexually assaulted a girl in Wheeling. Antoine Hilliard, 33, was charged with felony predatory criminal sexual assault, and he could face up to 60 years in prison if convicted, the Daily Herald reports.

According to prosecutors, Hilliard allegedly attacked the girl over several years in Wheeling, as well as Chicago, the report stated. The girl, who was between 7 and 13 during the attacks, told authorities that Hilliard photographed her nude, and using a relative's phone, she sent nude photos of herself upon Hilliard's request, the report added.

After Hilliard allegedly assaulted her January 2017 in a relative's home storage unit, the girl told a school counselor about the attacks. According to the girl, Hilliard had promised her the past summer that he would stop abusing her, the report added.

Hilliard's next court date is Aug. 30.
