ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A Christmas-themed pop up bar opened Monday in Arlington Heights. The Sippin' Santa Bar is slated to take over Cortland's Garage, 1 N. Vail Avenue, on Monday, Nov. 25, when the business opens at 12 p.m.

The tiki-themed Christmas pop-up with festive drinks, decorations and music is the "first ever holiday pop-up bar" in the suburbs, according to a post on the Cortland's Garage Facebook page. Sippin' Santa will run through Dec. 31.

Some of the drinks being served up include a Festivus Flip, Christmas Eve of Destruction and, of course, a Sippin' Santa, which is a mix of aged demerara rum, amaro, lemon juice, orange juice, and gingerbread mix). The full menu can be viewed on the Cortland Garage website.
