Arlington Heights: How Wealth Ranges by Neighborhood
Website uses Google Maps and U.S. Census data to break down the median household income by neighborhood.

Arlington Heights has a healthy number of high-income neighborhoods mixed with middle-income neighborhoods, according to a website that utilizes Census Data.
Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks is an online tool that combines Google Maps with the most recent U.S. Census data to show income. A map of rental rates is available and data from American Community Survey also is used.
The website’s map shows Arlington Heights has a patchwork of high-income and middle-income neighborhoods situated next to each other.

Neighborhoods north of E. Palatine Road have a median household income of $95,735, well above the state middle-class income range of $48,084 to $59,245, according to the site.
Other higher income neighborhoods include areas south of Northwest Highway and north of Central Road where the median income range is $89,975 to $94,643. Just to the west of that area-bounded by Wilke Road, West Central Road and Arlington Heights Road-the median income is $89, 975.

On the village’s east side, the income range is $62,966 to $71, 792, the data shows.
Only one area of Arlington Heights, bordered by W. Euclid Ave., N. Wilke Road and W. Sigwalt St., is close to the statewide middle class income range with a median income of $57,059.
The statewide middle class income figure is $48,084 to $59,245.
