Hurled Bottle Shatters House Window, Causing $5K In Damage: Cops
PLUS: More than $500 worth of packages stolen from the front porches of 2 Arlington Heights homes.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information is from the Arlington Heights Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Theft
A package worth $200 was stolen between 2 and 2:20 p.m. Nov. 14 from the front porch of a home in the 1500 block of North Evergreen Avenue.
Theft
A package valued at $310 was stolen at 11:23 a.m. Nov. 9 from the front porch of a home in the 500 block of South Kennicot Avenue.

Cellphone Theft
An unattended Samsung 8S cellphone worth $350 was stolen between 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at Northwest Community Hospital, 880 W. Central Road.
Locker Break-Ins
Items — including cash, credit cards, driver licenses and insurance cards — were stolen from lockers that were pried open between noon and 1 p.m. Nov. 15 in the men's locker room at Northwest Community Healthcare Wellness Center, 900 W. Central Road.

Burglary
Jewelry was stolen between 9 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Nov. 12 from a home in the 2800 block of North Greenwood Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry, and the estimated value of the jewelry was not known.
Property Damage
A 1-liter glass bottle was thrown at the front bay window of a home in the 1200 block of South Douglas Avenue from a small, northbound-traveling sedan just before 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20. The bottle shattered the window, causing $5,000 in damage.
