The Lotus Kings: An All-Star Tribute to Santana at Metropolis

The Lotus Kings recreate everything from the classic early hits to the "Supernatural" Grammy® songs of Santana at Metropolis November 24

An Evening with The Lotus Kings: The All-Star Tribute to Santana featuring Cecy Santana brings together eight Chicago-area stellar musicians that procure an astonishing replication of the musical wonder that is SANTANA. Come and experience the mystical and magical world of SANTANA. From “Black Magic Woman” and “Oye Como Va” to “Smooth,” “Maria Maria,” and “The Game of Love,” The Lotus Kings repertoire includes everything from the classic early hits to the “Supernatural” Grammy® songs –– and everything in- between! Award-winning multimedia presentation by John Theroux and Coffee Cup Productions.

The All-Star Lotus Kings collective includes guitarist Steven Kikoen (Deacon Blues, BIG SUIT, River North Allstars, The Deacons) on guitar & Brazilian performer Cecy Santana (Cecy Santana Band) on vocals with Chicago virtuoso keyboardists Ben Lewis (Gary Sinise’s Lt. Dan Band) and Brian Sinclair; iconic bassists Chuck Webb (Deacon Blues, Al Di Meola, Aretha Franklin) and Wally Hustin (Deacon Blues, Dave Mason, Phoebe Snow, Mike Stern); drum legends Ben ‘Jammin’ Johnson, Paul Wertico (Deacon Blues, Pat Metheny, Wertico, Cain, & Grey); Phil Brines (Deacon Blues, BIG SUIT), and Larry Beers (Nicholas Tremulis, Liquid Soul, & Sonia Dada); Master Conguero Joe Rendon (Chevere); Premier timbales player Jaime Claudio, and award- winning percussionist Janet Cramer. Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs in downtown Arlington Heights at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenue (111 West Campbell Street). Street parking is available. Free parking is available in the public garage behind the theatre.
