Man Wanted For Hospital Locker Break-Ins, ID Theft: Cops
The person is suspected of using stolen credit cards to buy items at nearby stores, according to Arlington Heights police.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Arlington Heights police are looking to identify a man who is wanted for multiple instances of identity theft. Some of the cases go back to December 2017.
According to police, security camera video footage has shown a man entering fitness centers at hospitals around the west, north and northwest suburbs and entering the locker rooms there. Once inside, he breaks into the lockers in order to steal cash, credit cards and ID, police said. Authorities then believe the man has used the credit cards to wrongfully purchase items at nearby stores.

- about 35 years old
- light complexion
- short dark hair
- slim to medium build
Anyone with information about the man should contact Det. Christopher Sefton at the Arlington Heights Police Department at 847-368-5354. An anonymous tip can be made by texting keyword 847AHPD and a message to 847411 or by calling Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers at 847-590-STOP. Anonymity is guaranteed, and tipsters could qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
