Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: I have been the owner of Orthodontic Experts since 2012 when I founded the company in Arlington Heights. The company has now expanded to over thirteen more clinics.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: For me, orthodontics was an easy choice once I got into the dental field. It's the one specialty in dentistry where I feel I can make the biggest impact on patients' lives. Every day we see children and adults who come in for a consultation and are very self-conscious and embarrassed by their crooked teeth and imperfect smiles. Once they complete orthodontic treatment, the transformation is unbelievable. They become really confident, feel great about their new smile and gain so much self-esteem. This transformation is especially visible in children, some of whom cannot stop showing off their beautiful smiles, once the braces are off. And that attractive, confident smile and boost in self-esteem is going to last them a lifetime!

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger, what would you say?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: We are a friendly, professional orthodontic team dedicated to providing quality care. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of our team members and empowering them to improve the health and well being of our patients.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: The most difficult moment is when you see a child who has a great need for orthodontic treatment and the family cannot afford it. At Orthodontic Experts, we really pride ourselves on working hard to provide access to orthodontic care for all kids. We're enrolled in almost all insurance plans in order to be able to provide treatment to many families. We also have flexible payment plans and work very hard with families to establish a financial arrangement that fits their budget. In addition, we have our annual "Holiday Braces Giveaway" contest to help families in need get orthodontic treatment for their kids.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: Creating beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: Our award-winning orthodontists strive to provide the highest quality orthodontic care possible, day in and day out. At Orthodontic Experts we use a variety of treatment options including traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces, lingual “behind the teeth” braces, Invisalign Clear Aligners and Invisalign Teen.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Dr. Yarmolyuk: Orthodontic treatment changes lives by making patients’ smiles more attractive and significantly improving their confidence and self-esteem. I am proud to be able to have Orthodontic Experts serve all the residents in a variety of communities across Illinois and Colorado!
