In-Person Class, School Closings In Arlington Heights
There are a number of in-person class cancellations and school closings in Arlington Heights for Tuesday, Feb. 16.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — After a snowy weekend and Presidents Day, more snow is expected to continue through Tuesday evening, bringing 8 to 13 inches to Cook County. The snow and wintry conditions have led to a number of area school districts, private schools and daycares to stay closed tomorrow for in-person learning and institute e-learning instead. The Arlington Heights Park District is closing at 5 p.m. and offering no evening activities.
Here are school districts that are canceling in-person classes and/or instituting e-learning as of 8 p.m. Monday:
- District 214 (Arlington Heights) — E-learning
- District 25 (Arlington Heights) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
- District 59 Elk Grove Township (Arlington Heights) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
- District 54 Schaumburg Township (Schaumburg) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
- Our Lady of the Wayside (Arlington Heights) — Closed
- St. Viator High School (Arlington Heights) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
- A Mothers Touch Daycare (Arlington Heights) — Closed
- District 21 (Wheeling) — In-person closed, E-learning Day
- Christian Liberty Academy (Arlington Heights) — Closed Tuesday
- St. James School Arlington Heights (Arlington Heights) — Closed Tuesday
- River Trails District 26 (Mount Prospect) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
- District 15 (Palatine) — In-person closed; E-learning Day
