Rack House Closing In Arlington Heights
The owners cited business struggles due to the COVID-19 pandemic as being the main reason for the decision.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — It appears the latest business casualty of the coronavirus pandemic is Rack House Kitchen and Tavern. Opened in 2010, the barbecue restaurant at 222 E Algonquin Road is popular for its bourbon barrels and smokehouse items.
"It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce due to our struggle through COVID-19, Rack House is permanently closing its doors," the owners said Sunday in a social media post. "We appreciate all of our amazing customers that got us this far, and all of our loyal staff for sticking with us until the end. It has been a great pleasure serving you for the past 8 years while creating memories that will last a lifetime."
Prior to Rack House, the 10,000 square-foot building was home to Boston Blackie's.
