Refuse Collection Changes for Memorial Day Holiday
Services for refuse, recycling will change for single-family residences served by GROOT, the Village of Arlington Heights' service provider.
From the Village of Arlington Heights: Due to Memorial Day on Monday, May 29th, collection services for refuse and recycling will change for single-family residences served by GROOT, the Village of Arlington Heights' service provider.
During the week of May 29, 2017 if your primary collection day is:
- Monday (north of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Tuesday, May 30th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Friday, June 2nd)
- Tuesday (south of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Wednesday, May 31st (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Saturday, June 3rd)
- Thursday (north of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Friday, June 2nd (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday, May 30th)
- Friday (south of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Rd) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Saturday, June 3rd (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Wednesday, May 31st)
