Reminder: No Memorial Day Parade In Arlington Heights

A ceremony honoring the fallen from Arlington Heights will be pre-recorded at Village Hall for the community to view.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, the Veterans Memorial Committee of Arlington Heights has decided to cancel the annual Memorial Day parade and outdoor ceremony. It marks the second straight year the events have been canceled.

As in 2020, a ceremony honoring the fallen from Arlington Heights will be pre-recorded at Village Hall for the community to view at some point in May. Fifty-eight Arlington Heights residents have died serving the nation between the Civil War and the War in Afghanistan.
