Held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Stonegate Banquet & Conference Centre, this fashion show luncheon benefit will celebrate the Scottish heritage and history of WCI. Here’s a “wee” bit of the plans:

· Produced by ZZAZZ Productions, this year’s fashion show will be held promptly at Noon allowing guests to chat up the show over lunch that follows.

· With the WCI legendary baskets, silent auction and money board, all Lassies will have a chance to win cash or prizes.

The chair team also launched the 2019 Program Book effort with increased color at same ad rates. For as little as $75 (1/4 page) to $1,000 (2-pages), a business or individual can reach over 400 women to promote business and support the WCI mission. This keepsake booklet provides ongoing reference to identify and engage local providers.

Guests are also welcome to attend a membership meeting to find out more about WCI. On Thursday, February 7, the meeting is offsite at Chessie’s at Ice house Mall in Barrington beginning at 10:30 am; the program pertains to antiques followed by an optional lunch. WCI returns to Inverness Golf Club for the Thursday, March 14th General Meeting; a breakfast is planned along with a program. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Guests are welcome; please register in advance with Helen Lacher at hlacher61@yahoo.com.

WCI has two fundraisers each year with all proceeds benefitting WCI scholarship and philanthropy programs in the northwest suburban corridor. To date, WCI has reinvested close to $850,000 in grants to local philanthropy organizations, plus $400,000 in post-secondary scholarships to selected students residing in the geographical boundaries of school districts #211 and #220.

We invite all Lassies to join us on April 11, 2019! For more information on the fashion show event or Women’s Club of Inverness, please visit www.womensclubofinverness.com.
