Wheeling High School Jazz 1 Amazing Performance

Congratulations to
the Wheeling Jazz Band 1 for a wonderful performance at the Illinois
All-State Music Convention. The Illinois Music Education Convention
happens every year at the end of January. It is a chance for all of
the state's finest individuals and finest school ensembles to
showcase their talents with concerts and educational clinics.
Wheeling was one of two bands selected across the state to perform at
the prestigious convention. They performed with great energy and
represented Wheeling with great style. We are proud to be Wheeling
Wildcats and we can all rest assured that the state knows that we are
an awesome school and that our jazz band is the tops! Members of the
jazz band are: Anthony Cruz, Andrea Moreno, Angel Lopez, Julia
Stanischewski, Javier Romano, Erick Garduno, Leo Quintana, Morgan
Tadish, Marco Gonzalez, David Martinez, Kyle Splett, Roman Chapkis,
Kyle Mesa, Fernando Moreno, Ali Kron, Estephania Diaz, Emily Wachter,
Gustavo Leyva, Alexandra Kaprak, Nicki Koutun, and Anabel
Perez-Brennan. Special thanks to Valencia Smith for also
singing with the band!
