What is the primary reason you are running for this office? I am seeking re-election to ensure we continue to provide a high level of services at the lowest cost to low-income individuals and families, the disabled and seniors in our township.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? No increase in the township portion of real estate taxes.
What are the top three issues facing Wheeling Township residents? 1. Transportation (bus service) for seniors and the non-driving disabled. 2. Food assistance from the township food pantry and Meals on Wheels; and Dental Assistance for residents who can't afford dental care. 3. Reducing and managing reserves to meet board goals and sustain programs.
What sets you apart from the other candidate? My eight years of experience as a trustee in Wheeling Township. My good working relationship with the other Wheeling Township board members and my business background.
