Young Dylan, a hard-roots rock band devoted to the music of Bob Dylan and Neil Young, performs A Rockin' Tribute at Metropolis November 23

Young Dylan is a hard-roots rock band devoted to the legendary music of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Featuring classic numbers from Dylan’s and Young’s electric catalogue like “Highway 61,” “Cinnamon Girl,” “Maggie’s Farm” and “Rockin’ in the Free World,” Young Dylan also pays tribute to reflective songs like “Needle and the Damage Done,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and “Heart of Gold.”
Female singers of the early electric era are also featured in renditions of “So Far Away,” “Both Sides Now,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “It Ain’t Me Babe” and other classics of the era. Band members include David Welker, Rick Veras, Joey Zymonas, Joe Keefe and special guests. In the aggregate, the band has more than 2 centuries of live-stage experience and is thrilled to be rocking out this great music.

Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs in downtown Arlington Heights at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenue (111 West Campbell Street). Street parking is available. Free parking is available in the public garage behind the theatre.
