3 Shot Sunday Morning On Aurora's East Side: Police

Update: Two people remained in the hospital Sunday night after suffering gunshot wounds, according to police. One is in critical condition.

AURORA, IL — Three people were hospitalized after being shot early Sunday morning in Aurora, according to police. The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Trask Street, police said.

A 26-year-old man was treated for gunshot wounds at a local hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said Sunday night. An 18-year-old woman was also treated for gunshot wounds and was in serious but stable condition Sunday night, according to police.

A 28-year-old man was treated for gunshot wounds at a local hospital and was released, police said.
