Another Naperville Cleaner Robbed With Gun This Week: Police
This is the second robbery at a dry cleaner in a week.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A dry cleaning establishment was robbed Thursday night around 6:50. The suspect showed a handgun and fled the area westbound on foot. The Daily Herald interviewed Charles Kwon, the owner and operator of Young's Cleaners, who said he was alone in the shop just a few minutes before closing.
He told the Herald that the man showed him a handwritten note that said something like, "I have a gun, open the drawer." Kwon said he wasn't scared, and he handed over about a hundred dollars right away, then called police when the suspect left.
Police described the man as a white, standing 5-foot-8, 120 to 130 pounds who was last seen wearing a black ski mask or scarf, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

This is the second armed robbery of a Naperville dry cleaner in a week. Police are telling employees to comply and hand over the money. That's what happens in most cases, according to police reports from a few robberies this past month. In one instance, however, a clerk at 7-Eleven didn't hand over the money, and lived to tell about it.
Naperville police is looking for information on these robberies. They can be reached at 630-420-6666.
