Aurora Commuter Traffic Alert Off Farnsworth Avenue
Detour will be in place Monday, Dec. 11 - 15.
AURORA, IL — Beginning Monday, Dec. 11, Mountain Street east of Farnsworth Avenue will be closed to all traffic until Friday by 5 p.m., conditions permitting. As part of the Farnsworth Avenue drainage improvement project between Sheffer Road and Mountain Street, a new water main is being installed. The closure is occurring so crews can complete the water main connections.
To access locations on Mountain between Farnsworth and McClure, use Sheffer and McClure Roads, police said.
