When Aurora police heard Chase's birthday party was canceled due to the coronavirus shutdown, they jumped to action.

AURORA, IL — Four-year-old Chase wants to be a cop and fight crime when he grows up, but for now, he's dealing with other issues, like the fact that his birthday party was canceled due to the new coronavirus shutdown. When Aurora police learned of the cancellation, they rushed to action to make Chase's day.

Several police officers got in their squad cars and cruised to Chase's house with lights flashing and sirens blaring. Clad in his own police hat, an ecstatic Chase greeted the officers while jumping up and down.

Before zooming away, the Aurora police officers dropped off gifts and made a special announcement over a car's loud speaker. The simple message put a huge smile on the young boy's face. They said, "Happy birthday, Chase."
