Aurora Magic Festival Set To Debut June 9

The Harry Potter Festival may be a no-go, but that's not stopping downtown Aurora from conjuring their own brand of magic.

AURORA, IL -- Aurora won't have a Harry Potter Festival this year, but that doesn't mean there will be a lack of magic. Wands, wizards, witches, and winged creatures will descend upon downtown Aurora on June 9 for the city's first Magic Festival.

The festival replaces the Harry Potter Festival after organizers learned they would not be able to market the fest as a Harry Potter event.

Kids and grownups are encouraged to sport their capes, hats, and brooms from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Aurora Magic Festival, which will be set in Water Street Mall.
