Aurora Man Charged With Beating 18-Year-Old To Death
He also faces charges of kidnapping and mob action

Anthony W. Bills has been charged with first degree murder, kidnapping, and mob action in connection with the death of Clarence King last July, according to the Aurora Police Department.
According to police, Bills and King were involved in a large fight at an Aurora apartment complex on the night of July 15, 2016. The two men, and many others, fled the scene as officers arrived.
Bills, 39, and other men saw King, 18, and beat him unconscious, according to police. The men alledgedly placed King in the truck of Bills’ 2002 Lincoln Continental, drove to Chicago, and dumped him in the 4500 block of West End Avenue.

Chicago police found King’s body the next day, and the Cook County medical examiner determined that he had been beaten to death.
According to police, Bills fled to Tennessee. Detectives recovered his car and brought it back to Illinois as evidence.

Bills is currently held at the Kane County Correctional Center in St. Charles on unrelated charges. His bail for has been set at $5 million. Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and they have not ruled out charges against additional suspects. Police said the motive for the killing appeared to be gang related.
A charge is merely an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
