Aurora Mayoral Candidates To Participate In Online Forum Monday
Incumbent Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin will face off with challengers John Laesch and Ald. Judd Lofchie during an online forum Monday night.

AURORA, IL — The League of Women Voters is hosting an online forum Monday night to give candidates for Aurora mayor an opportunity to lay out their visions for the city ahead of the April 6 election.
Three candidates for Aurora mayor — incumbent Richard Irvin, Ald. Judd Lofchie and John Laesch — will participate in an online forum from 7-8 p.m. Monday. The forum will be broadcast on the League of Women Voters Aurora Area Facebook page.

The League of Women Voters’ local chapter also hosted online forums last week for Aurora City Council candidates.
Raymond Hull, Ron Woerman and Brooke Shanley are running for an at-large seat on the council. The April 6 election will also feature contested races for the Aurora City Council’s 4th, 7th and 10th wards.

John Bell is challenging incumbent 4th Ward Ald. William "Bill" Donnell, while Saul Fultz III is challenging incumbent 7th Ward Ald. Scheketa Hart-Burns. Arjun Nair and Shweta Baid are running to replace Lofchie as the 10th Ward's alderman.
