Aurora Memorial Day 2019: Parade Route, Ceremony Info
The 2019 Aurora Memorial Day Parade is set for May 27 at 12 p.m.
AURORA, IL — Aurora's 2019 Memorial Day Parade is set to step off at noon on Monday, May 27. The festivities kick off at 10:30 a.m. with a meet and greet with the parade's grand marshal at the Art History Center, followed by a pre-parade program at G.A.R. Memorial Hall.
Parade Route
The parade begins near the intersection of River and Benton in downtown Aurora. Marchers will head east on Benton before making their way north on Broadway.

At Downer Place, the parade will turn west before coming to its end at River Street.

The Memorial Day Parade Reviewing Stand will be set up in front of David L. Pierce Art History Center at 20 W. Galena, which city officials say is a great spot for photos and views of the parade.
The parade will close lots C, I, and L, but residents can still park in lots B, D, G, Q and R until 11:30 a.m. The parking lots will reopen at 1:30 p.m.
