Police said the following: "Always be on the lookout for any suspicious vehicles or people in your neighborhood and if you see anything, please call 911 immediately. Please don’t adopt the attitude of “it’s probably nothing” or “the police have better things to do”. Believe us. We would rather catch a crook on the front end of a crime than take more paperwork on the back!

If you are victimized, please report the damage right away and don’t touch your property until we give you the go-ahead. Reporting incidents immediately gives us a better chance of narrowing down when the crimes are occurring which helps us with resource deployment. Not going near the damage preserves evidence that may be helpful in learning who the offenders are."
