Michael Perry was recently awarded a $2,500 Alumni Masters Scholarship to the fully online, nonprofit university

Aurora resident Michael Perry was recently surprised with a $2,500 Alumni Masters Scholarship to Western Governors University. The scholarship is open to WGU alums who are interested in pursuing a master's degree through the online, nonprofit university.

Perry, a planner and specialty contractor for Turner Industries, is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from WGU. He was virtually presented with the scholarship on April 27 by WGU Strategic Partnerships Manager Patrick Devanney.
