Aurora Restaurant Closes After Worker Was Exposed To Coronavirus

The downtown eatery said it will be closed for three to five days while employees get tested and deep-clean the facility.

AURORA, IL — A downtown Aurora restaurant is closing its doors for several days after an employee was exposed to someone who tested positive for the coronavirus.

Gillerson’s Grubbery posted Thursday afternoon on its Facebook page that it will close for three to five days while workers get tested for the coronavirus and deep-clean the restaurant. It will only reopen once all employees get their tests results back, the post reads.

“Your health and safety is our priority along with our team’s well-being and future,” the post reads.
