Aurora Shooting Victims Remembered at Prayer Vigils

The two victims were related and they were killed two weeks apart

Andrew Dockery, 26, and Terrelle Suggs, 20, were remembered on Saturday at prayer services held at the sites of their fatal shooting, according to the Beacon News. The two men were extended family members.

The vigil for Dockery was held on the 400 block of Melrose Avenue in Aurora where he was killed in a drive-by shooting on New Year's Eve. Suggs was remembered at the intersection of Orchard and Jericho roads, where his car crashed after he had been shot in the head on Jan. 13.

"It's hard to comprehend," Luanda Dockery told the Beacon News. She was Andrew Dockery's stepmother and Terrelle Suggs' aunt. "The family was still struggling to deal with Drew's murder when we got hit with the second death."
