Aurora Store Clerk Throws Chair at Robbers
Two teens attempted to rob a convenience store with knives

Two masked teens used large knives in an attempt to rob a convenience store on the 600 block of East Ashland on Friday, according to the Beacon News. The store clerk threw a chair at the pair and chased them out of the store.
The clerk caught one of the suspects, a 14-year-old, on the 1000 block of Bangs Street, where police took custody of the teen. The other suspect, a 15-year-old was later found by police near Bangs St. and Parker Ave. No injuries were reported.
The two teens were also charged with robbing the same store on December 15. In the previous incident, the teens reportedly took about $460 in cash and tobacco products.
