Aurora Trick-Or-Treat Still On Halloween, Despite Weather
City officials have extended trick-or-treat times by 30 minutes.
AURORA, IL — There's already snow on the ground, but that isn't stopping the city of Aurora from keeping its trick-or-treat hours on Halloween. City officials said trick-or-treating time will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, which gives little ghosts and goblins an extra 30 minutes of time to gather candy.
City officials advise that trick-or-treaters bundle up before they head out. It's also important to stay aware of road and sidewalk conditions and to wear bright colors or glow sticks to improve visibility.
If you don't want to take your kids on a snowy trick-or-treat trek, you can head to Aurora City Hall from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to get some goodies at the 3rd annual Halloween at City Hall.
