Aurora Veterans Day Ceremony, Parade Set For Nov. 11
The parade will step off from Benton and Broadway at 10:15 a.m.
AURORA, IL — Aurora has planned its 2019 Veterans Day ceremony and parade for Nov. 11. The parade will step off from Benton and Broadway at 10:15 a.m. to start the day of honoring those who have served the United States.
The parade will make its way to the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Park at 23 E. Downer Pl., where it will come to an end. The park will be the site of "Serving Our Country and Community" ceremony.
There ceremony will feature a rifle salute that's set for 11 a.m., the time the armistice that ended World War I was signed.
