Aurora Veterans Share Stories Saturday
Veterans can share stories, pictures and letters from wartime in a town hall event hosted by Rep. Bill Foster.
AURORA, IL — Rep. Bill Foster will host a Veterans Day community forum Nov. 11. There, veterans will describe their experiences as soldiers through stories of pride, grief, or anger from the wars in which they served, according to a press release from Foster. The democratic congressman of the 11th District invites everyone to listen and learn. Vets can share a story, a summary of service, a message, a letter home, an excerpt from a war journal, or a picture from their days in the service.
Saturday's event will take place from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Hall of Business at Benedictine University, 5700 College Rd. in Lisle.
