Aurora Volleyball Coach Banned From Sport For 2nd Time
USA Volleyball, the sport's governing body, made the announcement Wednesday, AP reports.

AURORA, IL — Influential Aurora volleyball coach Rick Butler has been banned from the sport— for the second time. The most recent decision was announced this week by USA Volleyball, a governing body of the sport. This time, he's banned for life, according to a report from the Associated Press.
Butler built Sports Performance Volleyball Center in Aurora.
There, he was banned from USA Volleyball-sanctioned events in 1995 after three woman testified against him, according to a Aurora Beacon-News article from June of 2016.

USA Volleyball board chairman Lori Okimura said the organization is committed to ridding the sport of coaches and others who “engage in hurtful actions against athletes and young people.” Butler's attorney did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment, reports the AP.
