Brothers Charged With Drag Racing and Reckless Driving in Aurora
An officer drove at 100 miles per hour to catch the pair
Montgomery residents Manuel Valdez, 25, and Martin Valdez, 19, were charged with drag racing and reckless driving on Sunday afternoon, according to the Beacon News. Police saw the pair in separate cars around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday driving at high speed westbound on McCoy Drive near Inverness Drive.
An officer caught the pair near Fifth Avenue and Waterford Drive. The pair were identified as brothers in a police report. Manuel drove a 2016 Nissan Altima and Martin in a 2000 Honda Accord. The charges, which are misdemeanors, are not a finding of guilt.
