Buckling Pavement Closes Parts Of Downer, Lake In Aurora
Police closed parts of of Downer Place and Lake Street in both directions.
AURORA, IL — In the thick of rush hour, buckling pavement cause Aurora Police to close two streets Thursday. Just before 5 p.m., officials announced that parts of Lake and Downer Pl. would be closed due to the buckling pavement.
Downer is closed between Lake and River, police said. Lake is also closed in both directions between Downer and Benton until further notice.
