Cinemark Reopens Tinseltown USA Theater In North Aurora
Nearly 200 Cinemark theaters recently reopened throughout the country after being closed for five months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

NORTH AURORA, IL — Movie lovers desperate for a night out at the theaters can visit Tinseltown USA after Cinemark reopened its North Aurora location.
Cinemark, the third-largest movie theater chain in the U.S., previously announced plans to reopen all of its more than 340 locations in July. The company closed its theaters in March at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.

Nearly 200 Cinemark theaters recently reopened throughout the country, including North Aurora’s Tinseltown USA, with dozens more set to welcome customers back Friday, according to the company.
All Cinemark theaters in Arizona and California remain closed indefinitely amid surging coronavirus cases in those states.

IL Bettors Can Register Online Again After Pritzker Reverses Rule
Cinemark’s online ticketing system automatically blocks off nearby seats, and seat wipes are available for any customer that wants them, the company said. Moviegoers are required to wear masks except when they are eating and drinking inside auditoriums.
Auditoriums are set to be disinfected each morning and sanitized between screenings. Concession and kitchen areas, as well as other high-touch areas, will be sanitized every 30 minutes, according to the company.

Customers can also rent an auditorium, for up to 20 guests, for a private movie screening or to play video games, with prices starting at $99.
Cinemark is encouraging all customers to pay for concessions with debit or credit cards. Customers who want to buy concessions with cash must purchase gift cards in a separate area first, according to the company.

Refillable cups and popcorn buckets purchased before the coronavirus pandemic will not be filled, though the theater chain will still honor discounts.
Cinemark employees will be required to complete a wellness check-in that screens for coronavirus-related symptoms.
