Colonial Cafe To Close Aurora Location; New Restaurant Lined Up

AURORA, IL — Colonial Cafe will close the doors of its Galena Boulevard location for the final time later this month, paving the way for a new restaurant to move into Aurora's West Side.

SYRUP is set to take over the property, offering upscale, "modern farmhouse-meets-luxe" meals for breakfast and lunch. SYRUP also took over Colonial Cafe's locations in St. Charles and Algonquin last year.

Colonial Cafe employees will be offered jobs at the new SYRUP restaurant, according to the company.
