Craft Urban To Open 2nd Location In Downtown Aurora
The restaurant and cocktail lounge will serve artisanal eats and craft cocktails.

AURORA, IL — Another restaurant is gearing up to open in downtown Aurora. City officials said Craft Urban, which currently has a location in Geneva, plans to open at 41 S. Stolp Avenue in the old Assell building.
The ground level restaurant will occupy a 2,800 square foot dining space with seating for up to 100 customers. A vacant lot adjacent to the building will be converted into an outdoor seating area, so diners can eat al fresco in warmer months.
The menu at Craft Urban uses locally sourced and fresh ingredients in inventive dishes that run the gamut from the house-ground brisket burger and shrimp dejonghe to the housemade duck sausage and the fig and camembert salad.

Diners can wash down dinner with a glass of wine, a highball, or a martini, or opt for more eclectic craft cocktails like The Dude Strikes Back, an homage to The Big Lebowski that blends vodka with Two Brothers coffee liqueur and a cube of maple cream.
As part of the new development, the building's top level will be converted into four 700 square foot apartments that city officials say will rent for about $900 apiece.
