Critical 2-Car Crash In Aurora: 2 Men Extricated From Vehicles
Authorities say two men were pulled from their cars after a serious crash at the intersection of DuPage and Bilter in Aurora.

AURORA, IL — Two men are critically injured and had to be pulled from their cars after a two-vehicle crash in Aurora. The crash, which involved a GMC Sierra van and a Ford Explorer took place around 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Bilter and DuPage Parkway.
New details have emerged that indicate the driver of the SUV was born in 1969 and the driver of the van was born in 1996. Police note that their exact ages are not yet known and it is not known if their injuries are life-threatening.

Police say motorists should avoid the area of Bilter Road between DuPage Parkway and the Tollway.

According to police, a preliminary investigation suggests that the SUV went left of center while traveling westbound on Bilter and struck the van, which was heading east, head-on.
Police retracted an earlier statement and said a Medivac was not needed. The men were rushed to a nearby hospital via ambulance.
