Downtown Aurora Street Closed For Emergency Sewer Repair

AURORA, IL — A portion of West Galena Boulevard in downtown Aurora will be closed to traffic through Thursday while crews complete emergency repairs on a sewer line, according to city officials.

West Galena Boulevard is shut down between Randall Road and Commonwealth Avenue, but residents can still access their driveways, officials said Wednesday in a Facebook post. Detour routes are posted in the area.
