East Aurora Boys Basketball Players Honored By Board

At its April 19 meeting, the Board of Education celebrated three student-athletes from the East Aurora High School boys basketball team. Each was recently recognized with postseason awards following the 2020-21 season.

Tomcat junior Jullian Acosta was named to the 2021 Upstate Eight Boys Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention; senior Jacques Kelly (awards accepted by his mother, Janet Wright) was named to the 2021 Upstate Eight Boys Basketball All-Conference Team and 2020-21 Beacon-News/Courier-News Boys Basketball All-Area Second Team; and senior Amarion Savage was named to the 2021 Upstate Eight Boys Basketball All-Conference Team, named MVP of the Upstate Eight Conference, and named to the 2020-21 Beacon-News/Courier-News Boys Basketball All-Area First Team.

The boys are coached by head coach Rick Robinson, and assistant coaches Damon Patterson and Tyrone Savage. Congratulations, Jullian, Jacques and Amarion!
