Basketball milestone award to be presented January 31
On January 31, during halftime of the boys varsity basketball game, the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association will be recognizing our boys basketball program for having over 1,500 wins. The East High Athletic Department is inviting any and all former coaches and players to attend and take part in the ceremony.

Since 1915, East Aurora High School has won 1738 games (not including this year) and captured 28 district or regional titles along with 9 state tournament appearances that have produced a fourth place finish in 1969, and a third place state finish in 1972.
East Aurora High School has won sectional championships in 1947, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1992, and 1999.

Our Tomcats were state qualifiers in 1916, 1917, 1947, 1970, 1988, 1989, and 1992.
Along with numerous conference championships as well as holiday tournament titles, East Aurora High School is regarded as one of the all-time great boys basketball programs in Illinois.
