East Aurora Soft Lockdown Friday After Writing Discovered On Bathroom Wall
Students at East Aurora were placed under "soft lockdown" Friday.

AURORA, IL — East Aurora High School experienced a brief "soft lockdown" Friday morning at 10:55, according to East Aurora School District's Public Information Officer. A written threat on a bathroom wall prompted the hour and a half soft lockdown, which was requested by police. After a thorough police investigation, the threat turned out to be unsubstantiated. Friday was a half-day of school and students were released at 11:35.
