Easter Egg Scramble Set For Saturday At Aurora Advent Church

About 3,500 plastic eggs — filled with candy, toys and prizes — will be hidden Saturday at the Aurora Advent Christian Church.

AURORA, IL — The Aurora Advent Christian Church is set to host its sixth annual “Easter Egg Scramble” Saturday morning, according to a news release.

Rev. Matt Mull said 3,500 plastic eggs will be hidden on the church’s north lawn for children to find. Children up to fifth-grade can participate, with the youngest age group set to search first, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, the release states.

Eggs will be filled with candy, toys and tickets for prizes, including gift cards, sports gear, kites and more, according to the release. Prizes were donated by congregants at Aurora Advent Christian Church.

Parking and admission are free for the Easter Egg Scramble, with participants asked to wear masks and bring their own baskets.
