Fire Displaces Residents in Eastern Aurora
The fire occurred early Tuesday morning and injured some firefighters

A fire in Aurora displaced 20 residents early Tuesday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune. Firefighters responded to the 200 block of North Oakhurst Drive just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. Some firefighters suffered minor injuries and one was taken to the hospital.
There are several multi-unit apartment buildings in the area where the fire occurred. Fifteen adults, four children, an infant and three dogs had to evacuate from the fire.
Some residents were rescued from a balcony. One dog died in the fire.

The Tribune reports that fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire. The Aurora Fire Department did not immediately return a call from Patch.
