'Firefighter Santa' Spreads Holiday Cheer In Aurora

AURORA, IL — Kids in Aurora got their holidays made a little brighter when they were visited by "Firefighter Santa" Monday afternoon. Joined by helpful "elves" and members of the Aurora Fire Department, Firefighter Santa delivered hundreds of toys to kids throughout Aurora.

Many of the kids were surprised to see Firefighter Santa and greeted the man in red with smiles as he delivered board games, toy trucks, dolls and, of course, hugs.

Santa was so busy making stops that he had to enlist the help of firefighters from Engine Co. 10 to deliver a bicycle and some other goodies on the city's west side.
