Flood Warning On The Fox River

Parts of the Fox River may flood over today, according to the National Weather Service, in a warning lasting into the afternoon.

AURORA, IL -- The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook including a flood warning lasting until 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The warning for certain areas, like Montgomery and Kendall County, was lifted. The warning for Kane County, however, lasts until 1 p.m.

The river's flood level is 9.5 feet, but the National Weather Service said its minimum level today will be 10.4. The Algonquin Tailwater is expected to be the area most likely to be affected by the flood.
