Freezing Rain Advisory for Kane County

The National Weather Service issued a freezing rain warning on Wednesday afternoon. The warning covers several areas in northern Illinois, including Kane County. According to the release, "accumulations of ice on untreated roads will make travel very hazardous this evening." Ice accumulations up to one-tenth of an inch are expected. A dense fog advisory was also issued for Kane County.
