Holy Angels School Hosts Virtual Fundraiser

Holy Angels' Virtual Seraphim Ball to Offset Educational Costs Associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic

Holy Angels School—a STEM specialty school rooted deep in faith and recognized for academic excellence—is hosting its Fifteenth Annual Seraphim Ball fundraiser to benefit the school’s in-person and remote learning programs. The virtual event will start on March 3 at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude on March 6 at 8:30 p.m. The live auction will occur on March 6 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

This year’s theme, “A Toast to the Teachers,” will be an online celebration of the school’s in-classroom teachers, remote teachers and student-parent educators. The free event will provide student parents, parishioners and local community members with a fun-filled way to celebrate and support a school committed to the spiritual formation and education of children in the Fox Valley area for over 100 years.

Guests will enjoy an evening of fundraising, raffles, and silent and live auctions. During the virtual auction, participants can safely place bids online from the comfort of their homes on a mobile device or computer. Auction items include destination getaways; luxury items and services; tickets to major Chicagoland area attractions; gift cards for local businesses and restaurants; Holy Angels School prime parking spots; and more.

“We’re grateful we’ve been able to offer our students both in-person and remote learning options this school year, but doing so has not come without a cost,” said Tonya Forbes, principal at Holy Angels School. “All proceeds from the Virtual Seraphim Ball will be used to offset the additional expenses we’ve incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and will allow us to sustain both learning programs in the months ahead.”

Event participants can purchase tuition credit raffle tickets online for a chance to win a $4,400 tuition credit for the 2021-2022 school year. Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 75 will be available for purchase from now until March 6. The raffle winner can apply the tuition credit to their student’s account or the school’s Guardian Angel Fund.

All raffle winners will be notified by phone or email after the event concludes.
