
Just after 10 p.m on Sunday night, the Aurora Fire Department responded house fire on the 600 block of Second Avenue, according to a department press release.
A neighbor saw flames coming from an attic window, called 911 and notified the residents. The four occupants of the home exited safely.
A crew of 18 firefighters extinguished the blaze in just over an hour. There were no injuries reported.

Firefighters determined that the cause of the fire was accidental, and they estimated that damage at $25,000.
